Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro MIUI 10 update will arrive with redesigned notification panel. It also comes with natural ad ambient sound. It will also bring improved multitasking management, full screen gestures and many more features.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro was launched in India back in February. It came with a very good features and specifications. It ran MIUI 9 based on Android 7.1.2 Nougat. Back in June, the company rolled out Android Oreo based on MIUI 9.5 for the smartphone.
Now Redmi has started rolling out the MIUI 10 Global Stable ROM update to Redmi Note 5 Pro in the country. Now the Redmi Note 5 Pro becomes the second device after the Redmi Y2 to receive the MIUI 10 update.
Many users reported on the MIUI forum, Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has started to get over-the-air update notification, or in some cases, the update is being notified via the Updater app. So if you haven’t received the update yet, you may have to wait for just a few hours of days.
You can also manually check and run the update. You just need to go to Settings > About phone > System updates > Check for updates. User can also download it through the Updater app. A few Redmi Note 5 Pro users in the MIUI forum mentioned that the MIUI 10 stable update comes with the version number MIUI 10.0.1.0.OEIMIFH, and weighs 580 MB in size. The update also comes along with September 2018 Android Security Patch.
As per the changelog shared by the users, the MIUI 10 Global Stable ROM update includes full-screen gestures that enable the device to support different aspect ratio and thin-bezel displays. The MIUI 10 Global Stable ROM update also brings natural sound and ambient sound, redesigned notification panel, and improved multitasking management. The latest update includes September Android Security Patch as well.
